Anyone else just hate that penmanship has become such a lost art?! I love looking at old letters and writings because the penmanship is so beautiful. ✍🏼 I even have a board on Pinterest called “Penmanship Aesthetics” because I love soaking in the inspiring beauty! The time generously taken to pen a beautiful letter, or anything written for that matter, just doesn’t happen much anymore. And I do think a big part of that is that it takes time. You can’t rush it, and boy are we a bunch of rushed people!😅

I am challenging myself to practice my penmanship more, to slow down in the practice of it. As an artist and hand letterer I’m always writing in art form, BUT it’s more artistic. When I sit down to write notes or something basic on paper my handwriting can be quite terrible.😆

I thought it would be lovely to make a Penmanship Alphabet Poster, and I love how it turned out. It’s inspired by vintage penmanship posters and would look so good amongst vintage decor or mixed in with modern decor.🖤✍🏼
